We are a group of musicians empower young musicians to discover their spirit of creativity, passion and collaboration. Here is perfect for those who want to experience the joy of group singing and are eager to delve into the art of choral performance.

Music Director: Annabel Zhao

Annabel Zhao is an color soprano and music teacher in San Francisco Bay Area.

Annabel graduated from Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She joined China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater as a lecturer. In the U.S, Annabel continued her training with Dr. Sylvia Anderson.

Ami Zhou

Ami Zhou received her Master of Music from San Francisco Conservatory of Music。Ms. Zhou has been a member of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and a member of Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC) since 2003. She is a board member of MTAC-PA branch since 2011.

Steve Lin

Dr. Steve Lin is a classical guitarist. He earned his M.M. at Yale School of Music and his B.M. and D.M.A. at New England Conservatory of Music. Dr. Lin is a professor of San Jose State University.

Wenshuai Zhang

Dr. Pianist & Piano Instructor

Dr. Yang

Class, Payment and Refund Policies

1. Trial Class
New students may take a trial class if space is available. The trail class is free.

2. Refund Policy
Tuition is charged per semester and reserves a student’s spot in the class.
Because class size is limited and instructors are scheduled in advance, tuition is non-refundable once the semester begins.

3. Absence and Make-Up Class
If a student misses a class for any reason (illness, travel, schedule conflict, etc.), the student may request a make-up class if available, but make-up classes are not guaranteed. Make-up classes must be scheduled within the same semester and cannot be carried over to the next semester.

4. Cancellation
If a class must be cancelled due to instructor illness, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, the studio will arrange an appropriate make-up class.
Notifications regarding cancellations or schedule changes will be communicated through the parent group or other studio communication channels.

5. Classroom Policy
In Regular Class Sessions, to foster a focused and independent learning environment, parents and guardians are not permitted to stay inside the room.
While regular classes are closed to observers, we invite parents to join us inside the classroom during our scheduled Open House events.

6. Photo & Video Release
During classes, rehearsals, performances, or studio activities, photos and videos may occasionally be taken.
These materials may be used for internal studio purposes, educational documentation, or promotional materials for Mipha Music Studio.

7. Liability Waiver
By enrolling in classes or participating in studio activities (including rehearsals, performances, or concerts), parents acknowledge and accept that participation in music and performance activities involves certain risks.
Families agree that Mipha Music Studio and its staff are not responsible for injuries or accidents that may occur during classes, rehearsals, or studio events, except in cases of gross negligence.

8. Agreement
By enrolling in Mipha Music Studio classes, parents and students acknowledge that they have read and agreed to the studio policies above.
